New Mountains Yoga is an online yoga studio offering beginner level classes for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own home. Our goal is to promote physical and mental well-being, with a focus on holistic wellness.

Although our classes are geared toward those new to yoga, we aim to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for individuals of all experience levels to explore and enjoy the practice of yoga.

Small group in-person beginner level classes are also offered on select days each month.

About Jacque

After 25 years of dreaming of becoming a yoga instructor and running out of excuses as to why I could not become one, I enrolled in and completed a local yoga instructor training at Supreme Peace Yoga. Through this training I got to experience yoga, which means "to unite", as a holistic approach; signifying the connection between body, mind and soul.

After completing the training, I envisioned offering yoga classes to care-takers and busy individuals, who I found are typically women. It was during conversations with family, friends and colleagues, regarding self-care, that I noticed a common theme; Women often find it challenging to carve out time to take care of themselves in a holistic manner and to prioritize their health and wellness journey. Some also expressed feelings of occasional stress, anxiety, and/or concerns about health issues.

With my dream of becoming a yoga instructor finally realized, I created New Mountains Yoga - an online yoga studio whose purpose is to provide affordable live and pre-recorded yoga and wellness instruction to care givers and busy individuals who choose not to or find it hard to access a brick-and-mortar location for various reasons. Our goal is to assist our clients as they make themselves a priority by using yoga to nurture their mind, body and soul.
